Cassie and Caleb. These two are some of the sweetest individuals I've ever met, and they share such a beautiful, genuine love. It was an absolute joy to design the flowers for their romantic Sedona wedding.
Cassie & Caleb got married at the Creekside Inn in Sedona, a totally secluded venue nestled right along Oak Creek.
During our consultation, Cassie shared her inspiration photos of gigantic, lush bouquets filled with deep, romantic colors and wild greenery. I knew instantly her wedding was going to be right up my alley; it practically could have been my own pinterest board! She emphasized that she wanted really big bouquets for her bridesmaids and herself, a fun element that I was excited to tackle.
For Cassie's flowers, I focused on rich colors that could be nestled into a wide variety of greenery: eucalyptus, Italian ruscus, and myrtle. She loved the look of some specialty flowers - cafe au lait dahlias, ranunculus, and hanging ameranthus. We wanted to incorporate unique fill flowers like thistle for hints of blue and hypericum for interesting detail, which I knew would look fantastic in the boutonniere against Caleb's killer burgundy suit.
For the ceremony, Caleb and Cassie had picked out a gorgeous wooden arch, some unique patterned rugs to cover the ground, and wooden benches for guests. Cassie asked for me to design a large arch-piece that would tie into the gorgeous Oak Creek backdrop.
For the outdoor reception, Cassie asked for greenery to be laid on the wooden tables arranged in the grass, and a unique sweetheart table arrangement to make her and Caleb's spot extra special. I love the simplicity and elegance of greenery on a natural wooden table.
